The dark wood looks nice and you'll love that you can store the chairs (stools) up off the floor under the table. And the extra bit of storage on the side works surprisingly well.The instructions for putting this together were a joke. They made Ikea assembly instructions seem amazing. Do yourself a favor and YouTube a video on how to put this together before trying it. You'll save yourself a lot of frustration.I have to say, I’m very disappointed. The piece itself is beautiful and sturdy. But! The fumes! Between the box and the table itself my whole house smelled like diesel gas. There was also a dent in the top of the table.This thing smelled like a can of wood stain. Our whole house smelled this way and we had to take every piece out of the containers and air them out in our garage for a week. When we were finally able to be around it for more than 5 minutes, I started assembly. The instructions were incorrectly labeled. Pieces of the laminate were flaking off. The whole thing was a pain.However, the piece of furniture is unique and really serves its purpose well. I like the table and stools, just not all of the problems that came with acquiring and building them.Directions difficult to understand. There was a hole for a screw missing.Directions are horrible. Knowledge on how these things are put together is needed. Allen wrenches were junk, better have your own, and a couple of screws. Made in Vietnam. And again,, the directions were not up to par.. It'll do.I looked at a lot of tables under 200 and I'm glad I chose this one. It was a lot more for shipping and assembling the front display shelves were pretty confusing. But the cushions are very comfortable and it's stable and durable. I know one of the other ones wouldn't have been as nice from the reviews.Perfect small kitchen.Came with one heavy package. It was a little hard to put all parts together ( not instructions included)
